An emotionally abusive relationship can result unintentionally from acts of kindness.
August 30, 2010
Hello,

Ministers Can Create Emotionally Abusive Relationships
From Acts Of Unsolicited Kindness

It's hard to imagine that a good-hearted minister...with the very best intentions...can create an emotionally abusive relationship.

But it happens...when you offend someone's values by acts of kindness.

We've all had the experience of doing an unsolicited act of kindness for someone only to have them respond negatively.

"But, I was only trying to help" you may have said.

In ministry...even kindness has its boundaries.

If you haven't read about Father Dennis and his new secretary...and her husband's death threat...you can read it here.

NOTE: Older versions of browsers may make your experience less than satisfying because they have not kept up with radically new ways of constructing and designing web pages...and so they become confused when they don't understand the new codes.

So...for the best experience (all over the net) you should make sure you are using the latest version of Firefox (recommended for this site) or Internet Explorer. All of the browsers are FREE downloads and install in seconds. So why limit your experience. Upgrade today.

And...as always...your feedback is always welcome. For example...what kind of videos or audios would you like to have? What ebooks would be useful to you.

See you on boundaries-for-effective-ministry.org

All the best.
